[NUC] Error Code 56: Windows is Still Setting Up the Class Configuration For This Device

Resolution

Try the following to resolve this error message/issue (check after each step if the issue is resolved):

  • Perform a Network Reset
    1. Press Windows key + x
    2. Click Network Connections
      1. Click Advanced network settings (in Windows* 11)
      2. Click Status (in Windows* 10)
    1. Click Network reset
  • Uninstall the wireless and Bluetooth adapter from Device Manager, and then do a clean installation of both drivers (Bluetooth first).

If both of the above options fail to resolve the problem, then a "Reset" or "Re-installation" of the OS may be required.  For more assistance you can contact ASUS support.
