[NUC] Wireless Adapter Not Working on NUC Kits NUC8i7HVK Using Windows* Server 2016

Resolution

The wireless feature needs to be enabled. Follow the steps below to enable wireless on Windows Server 2016* :

  1. Go to Server Manager, start the Add Roles/Features wizard and add Wireless LAN Service.
  2. Make sure that the WLAN feature is enabled in your BIOS.
    1. To access BIOS, press F2 during POST screen.
    2. On the BIOS screen, click Advance.
    3. Click Devices.
    4. Click Onboard Devices.
    5. Ensure that the WLAN option is checked (✔️).
    6. Restart the NUC.
