[NUC] NUC12DCM & NUC12DCMv PCH (Platform Controller Hub) Temperature Is Close to 100℃
Resolution
It is normal for the PCH temperature to read as hot in the BIOS as no drivers have been installed yet. This is especially true if the machine is in the BIOS for an extended time period.
Once drivers are installed and the NUC boots to the operating system (OS), the PCH temperature is within a normal range.
| Note | The PCH Temperature field was removed from BIOS 0053 and later as there is no reason to show the PCH Temperature in the BIOS without the drivers loaded. |
