[AI Router] Add Samsung Devices to Home Assistant

This guide uses a Samsung Smart TV as an example to show how to add it to Home Assistant, including basic setup and control.

 

 

1. Prerequisites

    First, make sure your TV is connected to your router and is working properly.

 

2. Open the Add Device Page

    In the Home Assistant sidebar, go to [Settings] > [Devices & Services].

 

3. Search for Samsung Integration

    Type [Samsung] in the search bar and select it from the results.

 

4. Set Up Samsung Smart TV

    Click [Samsung Smart TV]. (Choose the option that matches your device.)

 

5. Enter Samsung TV IP Information

    In the pop-up window, enter the device's IP address.

 

6. Authorize on the Device

    A prompt will appear for authorization. On your TV, select [Allow].

 

7. Set Device Name

    Enter the device name and location, then click [Submit] to complete the setup.

 

8. Integration Complete

    Once setup is complete, you will see your integrated Samsung device in the Home Assistant device overview page, and you can further set up automations or controls.
