[AI Router] Adding MITSUBISHI HEAVY Smart M-Air WF-RAC Devices to Home Assistant
MITSUBISHI HEAVY's (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) WF-RAC is a Wi-Fi controller module for their air conditioning units.
This guide will walk you step by step through integrating MITSUBISHI HEAVY WF-RAC devices into Home Assistant.
Prerequisites
- Make sure you have completed the initial setup of your device using the official MITSUBISHI HEAVY app, connected it to your router, and confirmed it works properly.
- HACS is installed. You can refer to the How to Install HACS guide.
1. Review the WF-RAC Module Documentation
Go to https://github.com/jeatheak/Mitsubishi-WF-RAC-Integration for documentation.

2. Install the WF-RAC Module in HACS
On the HACS page, click the three-dot icon in the upper right and select [Custom repositories].

In the [Custom repositories] window, enter the following information:
- URL: https://github.com/jeatheak/Mitsubishi-WF-RAC-Integration
- Type: Integration

Click on Smart M-Air (Mitsubishi WF-RAC) in the menu.

In the pop-up window, click [Download].

After installation, you will see a prompt in [Settings] that a restart is required

3. Restart Home Assistant
Click [Settings] --> [System] to activate the newly installed module.

Click the power icon in the upper right and select [Restart].

4. Add the WF-RAC Integration
After restarting, click [Settings] --> [Devices & Services].

Click the [Add integration] button in the lower right, then search for WF-RAC and select it.

5. Enter Device Information
Set the name and IP address of the WF-RAC device.

Specify the device location.

6. Integration Complete: View Devices
Once setup is complete, you will see your integrated device in the Home Assistant device overview page.
