Event Details
For certain lots only (affecting 3,697 units shipped within Japan), there is a possibility of reduced network connection functionality or failure to establish a network connection when using a wired LAN cable.
This occurs because the ESD protection function on the board containing the wired LAN port is not operating correctly. Consequently, static electricity noise cannot be eliminated when a LAN cable is connected for network connection.
Pattern of Occurrence
This issue may occur when connecting peripheral devices to any interface on the affected product and connecting a wired LAN cable.
How to Verify if Your Product is Affected by This Issue
Can check the serial numbers of potentially affected products in the list of serial numbers for devices that may experience wired LAN network connection issues.

Resolution Method
If the issue occurs on your PC and you have confirmed from the serial number list that it is an affected product, replacement with a board featuring a properly functioning ESD protection feature is required.
