Not being able to judge whether or not vegetables have pesticides on them just by looking is an issue of concern. Even though you wash them before cooking they may still have some residual pesticide on them, but this is a product that solves this worry. If you place this device in the bowl of water together with the vegetables that have been washed, it measures the residual pesticides in the water and tells you whether it is safe or not through its LED colored light display.
