[Gaming NB] Optical Mechanical Switch Keyboard

How the Optical Switch Works

Unlike traditional mechanical switches that have a lot of moving parts and actuate via metallic contact, Optical Switch enables actuation via light. Imagine this: you press a key and the switch stem instantly cut off the light beam—which is when actuation happens—and sends a corresponding signal to your computer to perform the intended action.

Feature Description

Comfortable keystrokes

The ultrafast optical switches combine with a longer keystroke travel distance of 1.9mm to provide a satisfying tactile feel. Each key cap curves gently to a depth of 0.15mm to cradle your fingers for greater comfort and put them in a better position for accurate input.

Zero Debounce Delay

The optical mechanical key switches actuate in just 0.2ms with no debounce delay, because we eliminate bouncing found in traditional mechanical switches. As a result, the signal is sent the instant you actuate the key.

Unrivalled Durability

With optical actuation providing less physical contact, Optical Switches eliminate switch degradation almost completely. This provides durability of up to 100 million keystrokes, compared to the industry standard.

NOTE: Since the optical-mechanical keyboard is triggered base on the mechanism of cutting off the signal of infrared, the outdoor strong sunlight could affect the mechanism and causing temporarily keyboard function disable. Therefore, we suggest avoiding using an optical-mechanical keyboard outside in the strong sunlight.
