MyASUS is an indispensable portal app included with ASUS laptops and PCs. The app also now supports the Dropbox cloud storage service for its backup and restore features, giving users an easy daily backup or device migration method.

MyASUS Switch and Recovery is a suite of tools that simplifies the process of switching between different ASUS laptops and PCs, or migrating data from a non-ASUS device, for example when a new device is purchased. The Backup and Restore module is part of this feature: previously, Backup and Restore required an external hard disk drive to store the data, but after the release of version 3.1.5.0, users can take advantage of their Dropbox storage for backing up or restoring their files on ASUS devices. Users also get access to an exclusive offer for purchasing the Dropbox Plus plan and extending their backup capacity to 2 TB.

MyASUS was recently honored by the Microsoft user community with a Finalist placement in the Utility category of the 2022 Microsoft Community Choice Awards, which form part of the new Microsoft Store App Awards.
