If you experience disconnection issues while using RT-AX50 Go in Router Mode, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps.

A. Check Network Cable Connection

Ensure the network cable is properly and securely plugged into both the router and the network outlet.

B. Check LED Indicator Status

If the LED is solid white, please contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to check the network service status.

C. Verify Internet Connection Type

   1. Connect your computer to the router via wired connection and enter your router's LAN IP or router URL http://www.asusrouter.com to the WEB GUI.

Please refer to How to enter the router setting page(Web GUI) to learn more.

   2. Key in your router's username and password to log in.

Note: If you forget the user name and/or password, please restore the router to the factory default status and setup.

Please refer to [Wireless Router] How to reset the router to factory default setting? for how to restore the router to default status.

    3. Go to [More Config] >> [Advanced Settings].

    4. Click [WAN] to verify the current internet connection type:

     a. PPPoE: Requires a username and password provided by your ISP.

     b. DHCP Client: Simply plug in the network cable for automatic connection.

     c. Static IP: Requires a full list of IP addresses, subnet mask, DNS settings, and default gateway. Please consult your ISP for these details.
