"It's been argued that even pro gamers can't perceive or really benefit from numbers above 240 Hz. But even if that’s the case, we’re happy to see any instance of engineers pushing performance into the realm of unnecessary. Pricing and an on-sale date still to come."

It’s 2023, and ASUS has been voted as the Best Gaming Monitor Brand.

The 2023 Readers’ Choice Award for Best Motherboard Brand goes to…ASUS. Not only has the brand been a favourite of our readers year-on-year, but this year’s results have been their highest in the last decade, surpassing their previous high of 62% in 2020’s Awards.

Can anyone beat ASUS in the PC DIY scene?

For gamers, performance always comes first, then value. And you can clearly see this in our results as ASUS takes Best Gaming Monitor Brand with 26% of the votes, while Prism+ is much further behind at 15%.

ASUS Zenbooks have been tailored more to creative or daily use, but the Pro versions take it to a new level. The 14 Duo has two screens one OLED, while the 16X has a giant OLED screen and a knob! So if you want to flex on Apple users, this is probably your best BET!
I absolutely love this having that secondary display all within this laptop can open up lots of possibilities.
It really is only ASUS with their Zenbooks & Zephyrus Duos that are giving us some good dual screen options. The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is going to tempt me perhaps away from the Macbook Pro 16
"ASUS have worked with Intel to create a custom chip a bespoke CPU which actually incorporates the LPDDR5x RAM directly on the chip . This means they can achieve much higher RAM speeds plus the Pro 16X OLED now gets liquid metal on the CPU to keep things cooler for longer. I can't wait to review this properly and see just what it can do with all that new hardware and just how fast RAM can actually get built into the chip."
These could be the best laptops of 2022 for creators and for thin and light users, especially with the Ryzen 7 6800U for battery life.
A high-end laptop with specs and performance to match. It's great for visual content creators with demanding workflow and tight production schedules.

ASUS was awarded the Best Laptop Brand 2020 by Laptop Mag, one of the world's leading IT media titles.

"I think the Prime X299 Edition 30 deserves our gold award for several reasons. I've tested many X299 motherboards and this is probably, if not the best of them despite its excessive price and weird market position. It also earns points for being a nice commemorative piece and something that's going to be a limited edition whether that was intentional or not. It's not perfect, but it's about as close as I've seen from any other motherboard model.”

ASUS sets itself up to intrigue the laptop world with stunning new Zenbook laptops

ASUS’ new Zenbook Pro 16X OLED raises the entire keyboard tray when you lift its lid

In just a few words, the ZenBook Pro 16X is the most powerful ZenBook to date, a design capable (according to Asus, and something we haven’t yet tested ourselves) of up to 140W of combined CPU+GPU power, in a 16.9 mm thin product, while only ramping to fans to 40 dB.
