Introduction
ASUS wants its users to be equipped with the mobility that the new normal of work flexibility demands. From its well-known consumer and gaming laptops, now comes a powerful set of laptops crafted specifically for the content creators and design professionals - the ASUS ProArt StudioBook Series. Each of these laptops caters to a set of design experts with their own skill sets – graphic designers, architects, animators, programmers, among others.

This year, ASUS Philippines partners with Arcanum Construction Inc. For 2 years, the construction business specializes in interior and fit outs for commercial areas and residential alike. This year, the business restructured Arcanum into three branches - the Construction group, the Furniture group and lastly, the Design Studio.
Major Challenges
With Arcanum opening these three branches, the business sees the relevance and need of using a reliable equipment. For them, technology that is a basic part of communication, designing, and construction is important to ensure the progression and competitiveness of their output in the market of design. In this time where competition is everywhere, investing in a good technology that will allow them to power up their creativity anytime, anywhere.
Prior to using the ASUS ProArt Studiobook 15, Arcanum creatives team also uses the ASUS ROG FX503.
As Jack Goco, Arcanum’s CEO, said, “We rely heavily on using demanding programs to get our job done. As an organization, [even if] we are not that massive, but we are [to be ready] to compete on high level because not only I am proud to say that I have a talent group working with me, but if equipped with the arsenal, they can create wonders beyond imagination.”
Aside from being at par with their competitors, the team also faces the usual problems a designer/artist faces: blue screen while facing and presenting to the client, delayed in finishing the work, among others.

Arcanum trusts the ASUS ProArt StudioBook
Being a starting company, Arcanum don’t have the manpower to rely on yet. The business needed to have a proper equipment for their workload. “ASUS definitely meets the criteria in terms of specifics and power that we need to produce our daily tasks.”, mentioned by Chelsea Yambao, Chief of Design for Arcanum Design Studio, who is also an ASUS user starting her college days.

With the ASUS ProArt StudioBook 15 (H500), the team increased their productivity, improve the quality of their work, and encountered less issues while using design software and applications. The ASUS ProArt StudioBook allowed them to complete their tasks even on-the-go especially now with the work-from-home set-up this pandemic. Not even the quarantine can stop their creativity with the power that the ASUS ProArt Studiobook offers them.
As Mike Jaramilla, the Chief of Design for Arcanum Furnitures added, “I recommend ASUS (ProArt StudioBook) to designers and creators because as designers, as artists we can attest to the power it brings.”

Arcanum Design team commends the ASUS ProArt Studiobook as it gives them the power to finish their work on time and runs smoothly with their most common used software – Lumion and Adobe After Effects – because of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card, Intel Core i7 processor, and 48 GB RAM.

The team is also impressed with the comprehensive cooling system that the ASUS ProArt StudioBook 15 (H500) offers in just a click of a button. Recommended for printing and graphic design is the ASUS ProArt Studiobook 15’s 4K UHD panel and 100% Adobe RGB Pantone-validated display that the Arcanum team is also fascinated about.
The ASUS ProArt StudioBook 15 (H500) has the same power (or even more powerful) than their custom-built desktop that they used in their work as well. More compact and more lightweight, this drives them to create and power up their imagination even more.
