[NUC] Guidance to Reuse and Recycling Facilities on Materials and Components Found in NUC Pro Mini PCs and NUC Essential Mini PCs

The intent of this article is to provide guidance to reuse and recycling facilities on materials and components on NUC Pro Mini PCs and NUC Essential Mini PCs that require selective treatment as required by the EU WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU.

Integration and User Guides for NUC Products and CMOS Batteries
The Integration and User Guides for NUC Products provide instructions on how to; open and close the chassis, install or remove 2.5” Solid State Drives or Hard Disk Drives, install or remove memory (SO-DIMMs), and install or remove M.2 SSDs. A copy of the Integration and User Guides for NUC Products is also included with the product.

Product Material and Component Information 
Materials and components covered under Annex VII of the EU WEEE Directive can be found using the following link. To determine the presence and location of these materials and components within NUC products, consult the article, How to Find Material Declaration Data Sheets (MDDS) for Products. The substances, mixtures, and components covered under Annex VII of the EU WEEE Directive shall be disposed of or recovered in compliance with Directive 2008/98/EC.
