[Computer Chassis] ROG Cronox Disassembly and Assembly Instructions

Notice

1. Kindly wear gloves to protect your hands before proceeding with disassembly or assembly. Pay special attention to the corners of the parts to avoid any scratches.   
2. When the side panel or front panel is made of glass, please handle it with extreme care during disassembly to avoid any collisions, falls, or undue stress.   
3. When disassembling, please lay the casing flat on a stable surface to prevent the side panel from falling during the process.    
4. Kindly ensure that the relevant wires are neatly arranged during assembly to prevent any damage to the wires throughout the process.     
5. Keep track of all screws and small components during disassembly and assembly to avoid losing any parts.

Preparation

Panels


Preparation: Lay the chassis on a flat, stable surface

 Right Panel

Press the relase buttom at the rear side of chassis, then lift the Right panel off.

 Curve Glass panel

Press the release bottom at the rear side of chassis, meanwhile gently pulling the front-lower edge of Glass panel outward at the same time until the panel disengages.

 

Frame Structure

 Preparation: Remove both side doors, lay the chassis on a flat, stable surface.

Front Frame

Remove the bottom securing screw (marked in red), then gently pull the frame downward to detach it.


Upper Frame

Prerequisite: Remove the Front Frame.

1. Unscrew the front securing screw (marked in red).

2. Push the center fixing latch (near the ← unlock mark) and gently pull the frame upward to remove it.

 

 

Front I/O Module

Preparation: Remove the Right Panel, Front Frame, and Upper Frame. Remove any cable ties and unplug all motherboard headers.

1. Uncrew the securing screw.

2. Push the module rearward to release the hook.

3. Lift the module upward to remove it. 

 

ARGB Hub

 Preparation: Remove the Right Panel, remove any cable ties and unplug all motherboard headers.

Remove the ARGB hub cover, then unscrew the three securing screws.

 

 

Foot Base

 Preparation: Lay the chassis on a flat, stable surface.

1. Unplug the foot base ARGB header and free the cable from any routing or clips.

 

2. Remove the four securing screws (marked in red) and loosen the four screws (marked in yellow).

3. Gently pull the foot base module and its cable outward to remove it.
