[NUC] Troubleshooting Audio Issues on NUC

If you encounter audio-related issues with your NUC, we recommend trying the following steps first:

1. Update BIOS: Please visit the ASUS support website to download and update your BIOS to the latest version. (Refer to: BIOS Update and Recovery Instructions for NUCs with Visual BIOS).
2. Update Graphics Card/Display Audio Driver: Install the latest Intel Graphics driver, which usually includes Display Audio. (Refer to: How to Install the Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 11*).
3. Update Audio Driver: Install the latest Realtek High Definition Audio driver. This driver is required for the front panel 3.5mm audio jack (for microphones and headphones).

*Some NUC models may not have a 3.5mm audio jack; please check your device specifications first.
4. Cross-test with Different Devices: Connect different headphones, headsets, or microphones directly to the NUC's audio jack. This helps rule out external device malfunctions.

Installing or Updating Drivers

We recommend using MyASUS to automatically detect and install the latest drivers. Alternatively, you can manually download and install drivers from the ASUS support website.
