[Service Announcement] Adjustment to the Speedtest Feature on ASUS Networking Products

Dear ASUS Users,

To provide stable service quality, the built-in Speedtest feature on ASUS networking products will be adjusted starting in October 2026. Details are as follows:

1. Adjustment Details

1.1 This adjustment only affects the Speedtest feature. Other product functions, including Internet access and Wi-Fi, will not be affected and can continue to be used normally.

1.2 For models that have reached EOL (End of Life), support for the Speedtest feature will be discontinued. (For EOL models, see: End-of-Life Product List | ASUS Networking)

1.3 For non-EOL models, starting in October 2026, as part of a unified optimization adjustment, the Speedtest feature will continue to be supported only on products that have been updated to the corresponding supported firmware version. The supported firmware version for each model will be announced in the firmware release notes on the official website.

For non-EOL models, please check the firmware release notes for your model starting in September 2026 and complete the update before October 2026 to continue using the Speedtest feature. To find the firmware release notes, go to: Product Page > Support > Driver & Utility > BIOS & Firmware.
