In March 2026, in response to global cyber threats and national cybersecurity risk assessments, the FCC issued an unprecedented, high-standard security review benchmark for consumer home routers. Which ASUS products are included in this approval? All ASUS consumer and gaming routers currently on sale or in service have been fully approved, including but not limited to:

Do I need to replace my existing ASUS router immediately?

No. All of ASUS’s existing router series have already passed the security review. The devices in your home can continue operating as usual, and original security maintenance and technical support remain unchanged.

The FCC’s latest ruling has no effect whatsoever on the normal operation or protection of your existing ASUS products.
