Out-of-Warranty Repair Parts Price Lookup FAQ
Q1. What is the Out-of-Warranty Repair Parts Price Query?
If your product is out of warranty, or the damage is not covered by warranty, such as accidental or customer-induced damage, you can use this service before sending in your device.
Enter your product serial number to check compatible repair parts and their reference prices before sending in your device. The page shows parts prices only. Actual repair costs will be determined after the service center inspects your device and issues a final quotation.

Q2. Which products are supported?
This tool currently supports laptops only.
For other products, please contact ASUS Support for assistance with repair pricing.
Q3. How do I check repair parts prices?
Enter your product serial number on the Repair Parts Price Lookup Page. The page will display compatible repair parts and their reference prices. These prices do not represent the total repair cost.
The prices shown are for reference before repair and do not constitute a final quotation. The parts that actually need to be repaired or replaced, and the final cost, will be confirmed after an ASUS authorized service center receives and inspects your device.
Q4. Does the price shown depend on where I bought my product, or on the country/region website I'm using?
The reference parts prices shown are based on the country/region website you are currently browsing, not on your product's original point of purchase, your serial number's origin, or your current IP location.
For example, if your laptop has a Taiwan serial number but you are currently working in the US, entering your serial number on the US ASUS Support site will show pricing and repair center information for the US. If you enter the same serial number on the Taiwan site, it will show pricing and repair center information for Taiwan.
Please make sure you are on the country/region site that matches where you plan to send in your device for repair, so that the reference prices and service center information shown are accurate for that location.
Q5. Why does the page say my product is not supported?
Repair parts price lookup is currently available for laptops only. If your product is not a supported laptop model, parts prices cannot be displayed online.
For other products, please contact ASUS Support for assistance with repair-related pricing.
Q6. Why is there no parts or pricing information for my product?
Parts or pricing information may not yet be available for some products. In those cases, parts prices cannot be displayed online.
For further assistance, please contact ASUS Support.
Q7. Are the parts prices shown online the final repair price?
No. The page shows reference prices for compatible repair parts only. These prices are for reference before repair and do not constitute a final quotation.
After your product is received, the ASUS authorized service center will inspect it to determine the actual repair requirements. Additional damage or parts requiring replacement may also be identified during inspection.
The service center will provide the final quotation after inspection. Repair or any additional chargeable work will begin only after you have reviewed and approved the applicable charges.
Q8. What do the prices shown include?
The reference prices shown online cover the parts themselves only.
Other charges, such as labor, inspection, and shipping fees, may vary by country or region and are not shown on this page.
After your device has been inspected, all applicable charges will be listed in the final quotation so that you can review the total cost before deciding whether to proceed with the repair.
Q9. Why might the final quotation differ from the parts prices shown online?
The parts prices shown online are provided for reference before your device is inspected.
The final cost may vary depending on the product's actual condition, additional faults, required spare parts, part price changes, local service center rates, applicable taxes, and other necessary charges.
The final quotation may therefore differ from the parts prices shown online. The actual repair cost is subject to the final quotation provided by the ASUS authorized service center.
Q10. Does checking parts prices create a repair request automatically?
No. Checking parts prices does not automatically create a repair request.
If you decide to send in your device, please submit an Online RMA or contact ASUS Support for assistance.
Q11. What happens after I check parts prices and decide to send in my device?
Submit an Online RMA or contact ASUS Support for assistance, and send in your device as instructed.
After your device is received, the ASUS authorized service center will inspect it and provide the final quotation based on the actual repair requirements. Repair will begin only after you review and approve the quotation.
Q12. How long is the final quotation valid?
The validity period of a repair quotation varies by country or region.
Please refer to the validity period stated on your quotation or the applicable service policy in your location.
Q13. Can I decline the final quotation?
Yes. You may decline the final quotation before repair begins.
However, diagnostic, evaluation, labor, service, shipping, or other fees already incurred may still apply according to local policies.
Spare part availability and repair lead time will also be confirmed after inspection.
Q14. What is the difference between this service and the ASUS Part Shop?
They are two different services.
The Repair Parts Price Lookup shows reference prices for parts that may be replaced by an ASUS authorized service center. Professional technicians perform the repair and provide any applicable repair warranty. The total repair cost is subject to the final quotation.
The ASUS Part Shop, on the other hand, sells individual parts for customers who wish to purchase and replace parts themselves.

Parts purchased separately from the ASUS Part Shop cannot be credited toward or included in the service center repair quotation.
If you are not familiar with replacing parts yourself, we recommend using the ASUS repair service.
Q15. Where can I find answers to other repair questions?
