From our point of view, the compact concept of the Zenfone 9 makes total sense and we have in our hands a device that can be easily handled with one hand. We appreciate its display quality and its performances are truly impressive while remaining temperate. We feel that we are holding a particularly durable phone that can make us enjoy our digital life with extreme velocity.
The Zenfone 9 is a great smartphone, there's no doubt about it. Whether it's great for you or not depends on your specific needs. If you like small smartphones that pack a punch, the Zenfone 9 could be the smartphone of your dreams. On the other hand, if big screens and multiple camera systems are your thing, you probably won't find the Zenfone 9 as exciting as other larger flagships.
After several weeks of testing the Zenfone 9, our opinion is clear: the compact smartphone from Asus is a technological gem. Powerful and durable, it has a beautiful screen and is very pleasant to use in everyday life. The Zenfone 9 succeeds where its competitors are doing best and outperforms them in areas where they are struggling, such as battery life.
The Asus ZenFone 9 is an excellent compact smartphone, probably the best under Android at the time of writing. We recommend it to anyone looking for a phone that's easy to use with one hand, but doesn't want to compromise on (excellent) performance or battery life.
This new model has almost everything to please: a small size, an excellent screen, a state-of-the-art chip or a very good autonomy for a smartphone of its size. Only its photo part is a bit behind, but its 50 megapixel module manages to deliver good daytime shots. The Zenfone 9 easily finds its place in the very specific and deserted market of screens under 6 inches.

Zenfone 9 is a dream smartphone for the most of tech users.
Not only does this device have a rather interesting design, but it now has a rather thick and rigid polycarbonate cover that feels rough. With a more prismatic frame, it feels great in the hand, it's hard to drop. It's just everything is much more polished, it's a better device overall. It is a device that can easily compete with those above it. It fulfills practically everything. You can tell that they are making an effort and that they care about what they are doing.

ASUS ZenFone 9 is doing great. Great display, top performance, superior cameras and surprising battery life. These are the main pluses of this device, that is, in addition to the already mentioned several times dimensions and light weight.
A compact beauty for the hand.
Asus Zenfone 9 is, in my opinion, the best small Android smartphone on the market right now. Weaknesses are hard to find. Its equipment includes solid cameras, a nice display, a nice design (although it is more conservative in the black version) and other plus features such as more than good battery life or very high performance, which is really more than enough. Add to this a brilliantly optimized system with several extra features, and you get a truly valuable phone in a small size.
ASUS has managed to create a highly compact premium mobile that impresses not only with its design, but also with its powerful chipset. Its camera capability goes hand in hand with an excellent display and superb battery life, not to mention high resistance to external influences and perfect sound.
