[NUC] NUC 11 Pro Kit NUC11TN Won’t Support a Display Resolution of 2560x1440 When Using HDMI Port 2

Resolution

The below steps may help to get 2540x1440 resolution:

  1. Make sure the monitor supports 2540x1440 resolution and the desired refresh rate. Try with lower refresh rates.
  2. In the case of a multi-monitor setup, check if the issue happens when only one monitor is attached.
  3. Try different HDMI® cables. Use straight connections with no video adapters/dongles in between, for instance, HDMI-to-HDMI. Also, test different HDMI® ports on the NUC and different HDMI® inputs on the monitor.
  4. Make sure that the operating system is up to date:
    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Search for Windows Update.
    3. Click Check for Updates and run all pertinent updates.
  1. Install the latest Windows* DCH Graphics driver available at Download Center. See How to Install an Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11*.
  2. Check with the monitor manufacturer if there are drivers or firmware (a.k.a .inf files) available for the monitors. Refer to System Manufacturers support options.
  3. Update the BIOS to the latest version. See BIOS Update and Recovery Instructions for NUCs with the Aptio® V UEFI Firmware Core.
  4. Try different monitors and different video ports, for instance, Thunderbolt* or DisplayPort*. If the resolution 2540x1440 works using different monitors, check with the monitor manufacturer for a firmware update and additional debugging and support.
