ASUS Announces Winners for Honor Your Heroes Contest
Fremont, California (July 7, 2020) -
ASUS recently partnered with Intel, YouTube influencers and gaming system integrators to host a contest for entrants to help their Hero win one of four custom-built, one-of-a-kind desktop PCs. Fans entered their Hero into this exciting contest by creating a short video that shined a spotlight on inspiring individuals that have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact within their communities. These PCs were meticulously assembled by gaming system integrators CyberPower, Digital Storm, iBUYPOWER and NZXT and were given away by Random Frank P, BPS Customs, Hardware Canucks and Bitwit via their YouTube channels from June 8th to July 3rd 2020. ASUS would like to thank all partners who helped make this contest possible and, most importantly, the everyday Heroes that seek to make a positive impact on the lives of those around them.

Inspired by the Heroes that went above and beyond for their community, these bespoke PC builds feature ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) white edition components and powered by 10th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors. Each PC also featured a variety of other top-end components such as the latest line-up of ASUS ROG Z490 motherboards, Intel SSD, G.Skill and ADATA RAM, ASUS ROG graphics cards, and much more.
Over 650 people entered and submitted a short video describing their hero, the acts of service they performed, and why they deserved to be recognized via the ASUS contest page1. Four Heroes were selected by a panel of judges to receive one custom built computer system. The Digital Storm system was given away by Random Frank P2 and won by Christy Wilkening, who is a nurse that treats COVID-19 patients. The iBUYPOWER custom PC was given away by BPS Customs3 to winner Zach Leazer, a veteran and recent nursing grad. The NZXT system was given away by Hardware Canucks4 to Austin Harrelson who is a nurse treating COVID-19 patients and postponed his wedding to continue helping patients. The final system was given away by Bitwit5 to Santy Saldaña who is a nurse working with COVID-19 patients and his wife is also a nurse working a different shift so they barely get to spend time together.
