[NUC] Ethernet (LAN) Port Failure on NUC12WS Series Devices

Summary

Troubleshooting NUC12WS network drop issue.

Description

The LEDs on the physical LAN Connector on the NUC are inactive (do not light up) and the LAN (Ethernet) connection will not work.

Resolution

Uninstall the Ethernet Controller device in the device manager.
Reboot the NUC.
Check for updates in Windows update.
Perform all the updates Windows update provides.
