[NUC] NUC Not Able to Boot after Adding a Storage Device

Resolution

When adding a storage device, make sure that only one boot order is selected. It can either be UEFI Boot or Legacy Boot.

To validate, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to BIOS by pressing F2 during boot time.
  2. Click Advance
  3. Go to the Boot menu.
  4. In the Boot Priority' tab,  only select one of the following:
    • Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Boot 
    • Legacy Boot
