[AIO Liquid Cooler / Motherboard] How to Install an AIO Liquid Cooler Using the ASUS AIO Q-Connector

The ASUS AIO Q-Connector simplifies the installation of an AIO liquid cooler and improves cable management for easier setup.

 

ASUS AIO Q-Connector Installation Guide

Step 1:
Remove the pre-installed cable connector from the pump.
(The red box in the left image indicates the pre-installed cable. Remove it before installation.)

Notes:

The ASUS AIO Q-Connector is supported on select ASUS motherboards.

If your motherboard does not support the ASUS AIO Q-Connector, use the pre-installed cables for installation.

Step 2:
Install the ASUS AIO Q-Connector (included accessory) onto the pump.

Note:
Align the notch on the ASUS AIO Q-Connector with the latch indicated by the red box on the pump.

 

Step 3:
Remove the pre-installed retention bracket from the motherboard.

 

Step 4:
Install the retention bracket included in the AIO liquid cooler package.

Note:
Ensure the bracket is installed in the correct orientation. Refer to the CPU direction indicator on the bracket.

 

Step 5:
Lift and remove the magnetic LCD top cover module from the AIO pump.

 

Step 6:
Remove the protective cover from the copper base of the AIO pump.

 

Step 7:
Position the pump over the CPU socket and align it with the Q-Connector.
Ensure that the spring-loaded screws are aligned with the standoffs.

 

Step 8:
Tighten the screws in a diagonal pattern to secure the pump onto the motherboard.

 

Step 9:
Reinstall the ARGB module.
Ensure all connectors and latches are properly aligned.
